Learning Objectives
At the end of this program, attendees will be able to:

• Determine history and current indications for arthroscopy in the foot and ankle
• Explain physical examination and work-up relating to arthroscopic pathology
• Identify instrumentation utilized in arthroscopy, including camera and the lens
• Demonstrate proper technique and utilization of arthroscopic instruments 
Describe proper operating room set-up for arthroscopy

• Joint distraction techniques Surface anatomy
• Internal anatomy
• Anatomic safe zones for portal placement to access ankle and subtalar  joints
• Types and proper uses of shaver, burr, and specialized power instruments
• Types and proper uses of manual instruments
• Techniques to deal with soft tissue impingement and ligament repair 
• Techniques to deal with osseous pathology, loose bodies, and exostosis
• Techniques to address
• Techniques for arthrodesis utilizing arthroscopy
• Arthroscopy complications intra-op and post-op
• Post-operative protocol and expected outcomes
• Other potential uses of arthroscopy in the foot and ankle

    Cancellation Policy:
    Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by mail, fax (888.502.8665), or via email to info@aspsmembers.org no later than 45 days prior to event.  All cancellations received and/or postmarked by said date will receive a full refund, less a $75 administration fee.  No refunds will be issued after the 45 day period or for “no shows”.  An alternate attendee may be substituted at any time prior to the conference start with no penalty.  However, if the original attendee is an active member and alternate is not, the difference in member/non-member rate must be paid at the time of substitution. If the original attendee is not an active member and alternate is, the difference in member/non-member rate will not be refunded.

    Event Cancellation/Postponement: 
    ASPS reserves the right to modify, postpone/reschedule or cancel programs for any reason, including but not limited to attendance, emergency, inclement weather, or other ‘acts of God’.  Every attempt will be made to reschedule, and registration fees will be applied to the rescheduled event date.  Travel, lodging, or incidental expenses incurred will not be refunded by ASPS under any circumstance.  You may wish to consider personal travel insurance for such expenses.  If a cancelled event cannot be rescheduled, ASPS will determine an equitable refund for a portion or all of the registration fee.


    Waiver of Liability:

    Each individual attending and/or participating in this program/event assumes all risks associated with his/her attendance and participation in all on- and off-site activities that occur during this time. By registering you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ASPS and its governing bodies, officers and employees from all loss, damage or liability arising out of or related to your attendance and/or participation at this program/event.


    Photograph/Video/Audio Release:

    By registering for this event, you agree to allow ASPS to use the photographs, video and audio-which may include you-in all media formats worldwide. In addition, you agree to hold ASPS harmless in the event that photos, video and audio are used that include your likeness on ASPS social media post, newsletters and/or the APMA website.
