Dear ASPS Member: The call for 2027 nominations is now open for candidates interested in joining the Board of Directors of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. Candidates must be ASPS members in good standing with a Fellow or Associate status and submit a CV and brief statement of interest for review by the nominating committee. Members of the ASPS Board of Directors will be expected to commit to a three-year term, attend monthly board meetings (via video/conference call, or in-person at the annual conference), and follow all bylaws and governance of the society.
To nominate a candidate, send name, email, and phone number to [email protected]. Self-nominations are accepted and must include a CV and brief statement of interest. ***Deadline: September 4, 2026 by midnight eastern time***
All nominations will be reviewed by the Nominating Committee, which reserves the right to reject any nomination that fails to comply with the stipulations specified in the call for nominations.
Voting will take place September 21 - October 2, 2026, via a confidential email survey. Results will be announced the ASPS Annual Conference on October 23-24, 2026, with newly elected board members to start their positions on January 1, 2027.
